What is Printed BOPP Tape

Printed BOPP tape uses a BOPP film as the backing, coated with an adhesive (often water-based acrylic) and then printed with text, logos or graphics. It’s commonly used for:

• Branding (company name/logo on your carton-sealing tape)

• Tamper-evident sealing (printed message like “SEALED FOR YOUR PROTECTION”)

• Differentiation (colour/print to stand out on packaging)

• Standard packaging sealing (cartons) but with added print value.

Key advantages:

• Good adhesion and seal strength when the film + adhesive are of proper quality.

• The print adds value both for marketing and for security.

Common backing/adhesive structure:

• BOPP film (treated surface) for backing. Example: one manufacturer says “the film used … has been specially treated in order to produce products that meet the highest quality standards.”

• Water-based acrylic adhesive (environmentally friendly, stable) is referenced by manufacturers.

• Available in multiple widths (12mm up to ~96mm), multiple lengths (30m-100m or more) depending on roll size. For example one manufacturer lists widths 12mm to 96mm and lengths 30-100m.
